By using Tools for Print, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site. You must use the site only where and as permitted by applicable law.
What the service provides
Tools for Print provides free informational and convenience utilities for print planning. Calculations and generated templates are not professional prepress, engineering, manufacturing, or legal advice. The service may be changed, suspended, or removed without notice.
Your responsibility
You are responsible for the values and files you use, for interpreting results, and for verifying important output independently. Confirm critical dimensions, bleed, resolution, imposition, pagination, paper behavior, binding construction, press limits, and finishing tolerances with the relevant printer, binder, manufacturer, or other qualified provider before production.
Generated files
The crop-mark PDF generator produces a blank geometric template. It does not certify artwork as print-ready and does not repair or inspect an existing PDF. You are responsible for previewing downloaded output in appropriate software and checking its page boxes, scale, marks, and compatibility with the intended workflow.
Acceptable use
Do not interfere with the site, attempt unauthorized access, use it to distribute malicious material, or misrepresent its output as a certification or endorsement. You retain responsibility for any content you process locally and for having the right to use it.
No warranties
The site and all outputs are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, no warranties are made, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, availability, non-infringement, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the site’s operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or production losses arising from use of or inability to use the site or reliance on an output. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Third-party services
Static content is delivered using Cloudflare infrastructure. Third-party services are governed by their own terms. A reference or link does not imply endorsement, certification, partnership, or responsibility for that service.
Changes
These terms may be revised. Continued use after a revision means the revised terms apply from the effective date shown above.
