Method
How to use this tool
- 01
Enter the final poster and sheet dimensions.
- 02
Reserve the printer’s unprintable margin and choose an overlap.
- 03
Set output scale, then assemble the reported grid in row order.
Assumptions
What the math assumes
- All four sheet margins are equal.
- Adjacent sheets overlap by the entered amount.
- The artwork is scaled uniformly from its final dimensions.
Production limits
Verify before output
- The planner does not generate tiled artwork or compensate for individual printer scaling.
- Measure a printed calibration line and disable “fit to page” when accurate final dimensions matter.

Frequently asked questions
Why is overlap needed?
Overlap gives you shared image content for alignment and space to trim one sheet before joining it to the next.
What scale should I use?
Use 100% for final size. A smaller percentage is useful for mockups, while larger values enlarge the assembled poster.
